Welcome to Stockton Joe’s!
Born and raised to a family of restaurateurs, brothers Michael and Billy Varni opened the doors to Stockton Joe’s in 1976. Styling their cuisine after the original Joe’s concept of exhibition cooking, they created unique and special recipes reflecting their Italian-American heritage.
 Their long time location in Saint Marks Plaza was moved in 1997 to its present site in the Lincoln Center. There they enjoyed the freedom to design a restaurant and lounge that best suited their vision of the Joe’s experience.
Senior Chef Marcelino Rodriguez, known to regulars and friends as Lino, has been cooking up Joe’s favorites for over twenty years. He  and the other dedicated chefs enjoy the preparation and exhibition of their faire in the wide open view of Stockton Joe’s guests.
In the last few years, we have since lost both Michael and Billy. Their memory and vision, however, still live on at Stockton Joe’s and with all those who knew them. In keeping with the tradition of the brothers, Stockton Joe’s continues to support local causes and endeavors in our community. Today, Stockton Joe’s remains in the family and is operated by Michael Varni, Jr.
